Ldia is the story of a dog living in a remote village in northern Kenya. Ldia, meaning “dog” in the Samburu language, explains the role of a village dog and shares his adventures in meeting people and animals. Ldia introduces the topic of conservation detection dogs as a tool used in cheetah conservation. The authors also share factual information about wildlife and the role conservation plays in Ldia’s community.
