Adventure Safaris

One of the most exciting and impactful ways to support Action for Cheetahs in Kenya (ACK) is by joining our Adventure Safaris program. These safaris go beyond traditional wildlife viewing—they offer an unforgettable travel experience that directly supports cheetah conservation. Each safari is guided by professionals connected to ACK’s work, and every leader brings a unique perspective and personal touch, offering a different spin on the journey.

A portion of the cost of these safaris helps fund critical programs such as cheetah monitoring, field research, and community education. Guests gain firsthand insight into conservation efforts and may even have opportunities to visit project sites or meet field staff. It’s a powerful way to see Kenya’s beauty while learning about the challenges of protecting its wildlife.

By choosing ACK’s Adventure Safaris, you’re choosing ethical travel that benefits both nature and local communities. Whether you're a seasoned safari-goer or a first-time visitor, your journey becomes part of a greater mission—and leaves a lasting impact.

Jameson Weston

Jameson Weston, a member of ACK’s Board of Directors, leads custom Adventure Safaris to Kenya for both first-time visitors and seasoned travelers. These ACK-sponsored safaris offer flexible experiences tailored to each group’s interests—ranging from traditional wildlife viewing in national parks and conservation areas to cultural exploration and scenic landscapes. A portion of each traveler’s cost supports ACK programs directly.

Often, ACK founder Mary Wykstra joins the group to share updates on conservation projects and connect guests with the organization’s mission. For those seeking a deeper connection, some safaris include time at ACK’s Meibae facility, where guests can volunteer alongside staff and contribute to community or field-based projects.
