EDUCATION AND OUTREACH

Adelaide previously worked with the Education and Outreach Department, where she assisted former coordinator Francisca Kasuku with student education activities from July 2018 until she was appointed to her current position as Education and Outreach Coordinator in February 2019. Adelaide holds a BSc in Wildlife Management and Conservation from The University of Nairobi (UON). She completed her undergraduate research project (An assessment of local community knowledge, attitudes, and practices on predators at Salama in Makueni) with ACK in 2018.

Adelaide develops conservation programs for schools and communities within ACK’s Salama and Samburu study areas. She oversees projects, including the school presentations, conservation sports, pre-warrior classes, and the TakaTaka (solid waste) project for youth.
